Obsolete Reason
Effective November 1st, 2019 Regional Medical Laboratory (RML) will discontinue sending out Metal Hypersensitivity Testing. The Metal Allergy LTT Panel 1 and Metal Allergy LTT Panel 2 will no longer be available to order. Clients may direct their patients to purchase the testing kit directly from Orthopedic Analysis at this web address: https://www.orthopedicanalysis.com/testing/order-testing-panel. Orthopedic Analysis will send the kit directly to the patient. The patient may come to any RML Patient Service Center (PSC) to have their blood drawn, and RML will charge a draw fee for this service. The patient will be responsible for packaging their specimen in the kit provided by Orthopedic Analysis and sending it to the Orthopedic Analysis lab via FedEx. Results will be provided back to the patient and ordering provider directly; reports will not be available electronically from RML.
