Unacceptable Conditions: Hemolyzed specimens. Separator tubes.  Specimens exposed to repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Plasma or whole blood collected in light blue (sodium citrate).
Stability After separation from cells: Ambient: 1 week; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 3 years
